Now you can commission a Spangler
original for your home, library or office. These can be personalized with
names, mascots, sentiments of most any kind. Most of my artwork starts
with a watercolor wash on tan museum board, then I go back with
colored pencil and gouache. Larger pieces can be done with acrylic
on canvas. Subject matter and style must be similar to Randal's current
work. Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the piece.
The above piece was commissioned by
the Village Library in
Oklahoma City. It is a 3' x 4' piece painted with
acrylic paint on canvas. The spotted dog in the
picture frame is
their mascot, "Spoticus."
